Respected leader brings more than 25 years of valuable experience in the global health industry
SOUTH RIDING, VA. – November 21, 2024 – Slone Partners, a premier executive search and talent advisory firm for life sciences and healthcare organizations, has announced the placement of Amy Nicole Nayar, Pharm.D., M.S., as President and CEO of the Personalized Medicine Coalition (PMC), a 501(c)3-designated nonprofit organization supported by more than 200 businesses, patient advocacy groups, and care delivery institutions. Nayar’s tenure will begin on January 1, 2025.
A pioneering leader in the field, Dr. Nayar excels at creating patient-centered change by connecting and mobilizing stakeholders from industry, government, patient communities, and clinical settings. She advocates for integrated healthcare transformation, fostering collaborations, encouraging adaptive thinking, and championing solution-focused initiatives to set new benchmarks in patient care.
Currently, Dr. Nayar serves as Vice President for U.S. Patient Advocacy & Government Affairs at Novartis Gene Therapies. In this capacity, she collaborates to streamline genetic testing and treatment pathways, paving the way for patients to benefit from some of the world’s most innovative personalized treatments.

Nayar earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan and her Master’s Degree in Health Outcomes and Pharmacoeconomics from the University of Arizona. She is certified in artificial intelligence from Harvard Medical School and in executive coaching from the City University of New York.
