Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator

Joi Edwards is a master administrator who serves as Slone Partners’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Coordinator, where she helps develop and support the company’s suite of DEI services including diversity recruitment, strategic planning, education and training, and leadership coaching. Edwards is a passionate believer in the potential of DEI to empower people from underrepresented communities and to build healthy and inclusive workplace cultures where all employees feel heard and valued.

With a rich background in the private, non-profit, and mental health sectors, Edwards’ areas of expertise include organizational leadership, people management, professional development, and employee relations. She is strategic, focused, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring an unparalleled experience for our client partners.

Prior to joining Slone Partners, Edwards served as Director of Media and the Arts at Overcoming Church Ministries in Indianapolis, Indiana; as an adjunct professor at Sanford Brown College in Indianapolis; and as a mental health therapist at Midtown Mental Health Center in Indianapolis.

Edwards earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Purdue University and a master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
