Sona Stroud serves as a Senior Partner at Slone Partners, bringing more than 25 years of experience across healthcare, life sciences, and executive search. Since joining the firm in 2011, she has led executive and board searches spanning biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical technology, healthcare services, healthcare technology, and SaaS. She partners with private equity firms and their portfolio companies, venture-backed companies, and publicly traded organizations.
As healthcare and life sciences organizations increasingly embrace AI, digital transformation, and data-driven innovation, Sona has deepened her expertise at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
In her role as Senior Partner, Sona plays a key leadership role in the firm’s executive search, client advisory, business development, and strategic growth initiatives. She advises executive teams and boards on complex leadership decisions, bringing deep market knowledge and perspective to help them build teams that drive growth, innovation, and long-term success.
Sona also serves as Slone Partners’ Culture Ambassador, championing the firm’s collaborative, people-first philosophy. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling, a background that has shaped her people-first approach and her reputation as an exceptional listener.
Prior to joining Slone Partners, Sona spent nearly a decade with Pfizer, where she was a top performer and earned membership in the company’s President’s Club.
Outside of work, Sona enjoys writing and going on adventures with her husband and three children.
