Adam Slone
President and Chief Executive Officer

After 10 years in business development with some of the leading healthcare/biotech companies, Adam was ready for a change.  A decade in the diagnostic laboratory industry helped him recognize that talented professionals were in demand, yet the hiring process was slow, cumbersome and time consuming.  He knew an efficient way to identify and procure top performers was needed and that his years within the industry would enable him to quickly and efficiently identify talent. 

In 2000, Adam founded Slone Partners, one of the first executive recruitment firms specializing in the diagnostic and laboratory testing industries.  Adam recognized that in-depth knowledge of this complex industry was necessary to help companies competing for talent from an ever shrinking candidate pool.  His industry knowledge and extensive contact base enabled Slone Partners to place hundreds of professionals with clients in its first years of operation. 

As business grew and Adam added staff to his company, industry focus remained paramount:  he insisted that all partners have work experience directly for a laboratory or diagnostic testing firm.  Slone Partners’ laser focus has earned the company repeat business and the highest form of praise:  referrals.  In a recent survey, 96% of clients surveyed would recommend Slone Partners to others.  Adam himself has also been recognized, and recently became an Advisory Board member of Washington G-2 Reports

As the needs of the diagnostic and laboratory testing industries evolve, so does Slone Partners.  In 2007, Slone Partners expanded its service offerings to include leadership development, recognizing clients’ desire to build and develop the skill set of its internal talent pool. 

Prior to Slone Partners, Adam worked for national diagnostic laboratory companies LabCorp and American Medical Laboratories in business development and sales.  Adam began his laboratory career as a sales representative and would later become Vice President of Specialty/Infectious Disease Sales. Adam graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion University in 1987.

A native Virginian, Adam now lives in Miami Beach, where he is still an avid, competitive tennis player.  His mornings typically start at 5:45 AM, running on the beach with his beautiful dog Yogi.
